AUDITION FOR FUTURE CAST:

1.) CAST MEMBERS. Are you a theatrical or film actor who would like to audition for our future performances? If so, we want to talk to you about upcoming productions!

  • Upcoming Productions:

    • Edgar Allan Poe's: The Masque of the Red Death (Fall 2021)

    • Treasure Island (in 2022)

  • How to Apply:

    • Click on the hyperlinked "Markiewitz Audioworks Audition Form" above:

    • Do you have reliable transportation? You don't need your own car...but you have to be able to get to the studio and to our performances without any issues in transportation.

  • Pay/Benefits:

    • All training/rehearsing/tech are unpaid

    • A small stipend will be provided to each hired actor.

    • Your name will be included in official correspondence, on album covers (if a lead), and in any official flyers/programs for the events

    • Your name will be included in the audio credits of our performances on Audible.com or wherever audio dramas can be purchased. Our first two productions, "Edgar Allan Poe's: The Raven" and "The Cask of Amontillado" are widely distributed in audio and CD format with sales across the country and well reviewed by professional reviewers on Audible.com!

CREW MEMBER NEEDED:

1.) FOLEY ARTIST. Are you a Foley Artist who is skilled in performing various sound effects during live performances? If so, we want to talk to you about a position on our team!

  • How to Apply:

    • Email MarkiewitzAudioworks@gmail.com with the following information:

      • Resume listing your film/tv/commercial/theatrical credits or experience as cast/actor or crew.

      • A description of your experience and any live performances where you have provided LIVE Foley Art / Sound Effects. If you haven't done any live performances, just say you haven't done any.

      • Do you have your own equipment? If so, briefly describe the table and what you have. If not, just say you don't have any equipment.

      • Are you willing to learn the business of Foley Art? Will train for the right person.

      • Are you over 18 years of age? If not, don't apply.

      • Do you have reliable transportation? You don't need your own car...but you have to be able to get to the studio and to our performances without any issues in transportation.

  • Pay/Benefits:

    • All training/rehearsing/tech are unpaid

    • A small stipend will be provided per performance as we are just getting started. Hopefully this is able to be increased as we become more well-known.

    • Your name will be included in official correspondence, on album covers, and in any official flyers/programs for the events
